Sorry for the delay. I guess I just got busy not-being-busy and decided to take a break from blogging. But, I'm back now, so let's get caught up!
Day 4:
- lounge around my parents' house on New Year's Day
- Mom fixes a big traditional Southern NYD meal
- head back to my place w/Candace for presents
- the four of us play IV-V-I
- go to Publix for snacks
- play lots of Guitar Hero Co-Op
- chill at home before heading to bed
Naturally, New Year's Day was the chillest day of the trip, as we all needed a bit of downtime to recover from the night before. Dave and Carla watched some football at home, I played some piano, and Candace slept it all off. We didn't go out for food or drinks at all, despite having had a few things I would have liked to have show Dave and Carla, but this was for the best. I guess I can save them for next time they make their way down to the Dirty South? =)
