Kevin Hart @ The Punchline
For my dad's birthday this year, I gave him tickets to go see a show at one of Atlanta's biggest comedy clubs, The Punchline. Now, as I'm not particularly aware of who's who on the comedy circuit (short of the biggest names, of course), I just picked someone who looked decent from the club's list of upcoming performers, and that someone was Kevin Hart. Although he's been on comedy central and in a number of the flicks from the Scary Movie team, perhaps his most notable spot was a minor role in The 40 Year-Old Virgin.
Anyway, the show opened with one of the owners doing a small bit, which was then followed by a guy whose name might have been Will...I believe he was traveling around with Kevin Hart on this tour. Kevin's set was good, but to be honest, a little too long (I was exhausted by the end). Overall, the whole show was fun enough, although I've certainly seen better (both on YouTube clips and recently). Mainly, it was just fun doing something different with Dad, especially as a gift.
