For the first four or so months of 2009, I kinda took a big break from my previous four months' obsession with Xbox...so much so, in fact, that I was starting to wonder if it was just a relatively short-lived phase. Well, I'm both happy and sad to report that it wasn't, as I've not only been playing a lot of BioShock lately, but also my newest gaming acquisition: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Now, I don't want to go into too much detail about the game right now, as I want to save a review of it for when I'm done, but I will admit that, like Mass Effect before it, this highly-regarded RPG is sucking me in. Hopefully not so much that I won't be able to catch up on my blogging for this month (if I DO catch up, expect to see lots of posts over the next week or so). Regardless, I'm proud to report that Oblivion is very much worth my $30, especially considering that the game could last for even longer than Mass Effect (which is to say...very, very long). =)
