Peaches @ The Masquerade

Again, about two weeks ago (because I'm about two weeks behind on my blog), I went to see Peaches live at The Masquerade here in town. Although I really think Peaches' minimal dance-punk style and raunchy lyrics are cool, I have to admit that seeing her live just wasn't as special as I wanted it to be. To be fair though, the venue was packed, it was hot as balls, I had a headache, and I had kinda dragged Candace there, so I was worried about her, so all of this very likely didn't help. Still, I think I would prefer listening to Peaches' recorded material over seeing her live, especially when it comes to her second (and far superior) album, Fatherfucker.

Anyway, if you don't know who Peaches is, I usually tell people that she sings that "sucking on my titties" song featured in Lost in Translation's strip club scene...if that doesn't help, let the video above help jog your memory.
