So, after almost two full years of having to endure me sporting other hairdo's, my fauxhawk is back with a vengeance. Okay, perhaps that's a bit dramatic, especially considering the cut this time is a good bit more conservative than before, but still... I've been talking about wanting to have my fauxhawk and fu manchu moustache back for a long time, and although I'm sporting a soul patch instead of the much-cooler fu manchu, this is definitely the closest I've been to that look in some time. Actually, I DID try out the fu manchu briefly when shaving my beard down, but I thought it looked just a bit too extreme for my clients, so I went with the soul patch instead.
The only problem with my fauxhawk is that my stylist decided to leave a bit too much hair on the front, so it's currently sticking out a bit too far and is therefore somewhat unwieldy, but I plan on going in soon to have her touch it up, so no big deal. Other than that though, I'm really happy with my return to an edgier look, especially considering it'll help me look a bit more like someone who's trying to start a band.
