Although I usually embed a YouTube clip of the trailer when posting on a film I recently saw, I'm not going to do that for Let The Right One In, as it would give too much away. Unfortunately, so would talking about the film at length here, so I'm just going to make this short.
Let The Right One In is a Swedish-language art film (with subtitles)...and it's amazing, even if you don't like subtitled movies (there is relatively sparse dialogue). My advice to you would be to go see this movie NOW, while it might still be out at your local art house, and don't research the movie AT ALL. I didn't know anything more about it than what I've already told you, and it was easily one of my favorite movies I've ever seen. Don't read a review, don't watch the trailer, don't check out a synopsis, don't Wikipedia it.
Just go see it. Seriously. Trust me. Let's talk about it when you're done.
One further point: they're making an English version of this movie that is scheduled to come out in the next year or two. I can't possibly imagine this American version being better, so see it now in Swedish. This movie got a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Go see it.
