Evan's back from his work trip to Utah! Or at least, he was for about 24 hours before he left again for Alabama for the rest of the week. He'll be back this coming weekend, but then he'll be back in Alabama for the bulk of the following week. Then he'll be back in town for about a week, followed by a trip to Chicago to see his girlfriend. Not too long after that, I'll be in Vancouver for a week, and when I return he'll be departing for somewhere new for a bit.
So, my roommate is kinda back, kinda not. I suppose it's not so bad in that this back-and-forth lifestyle gives me a chance to get used to having him here on a regular basis again, but I miss the guy, so at the same time I would like to have him around more now that his big trip is over. Still, we managed to hang out a good bit on Monday night, which was good.
When I last wrote about Evan being gone however, I had left it in the air whether or not I would have to move out of the apartment due to him possibly staying in Utah for awhile. As it turns out, he didn't like Utah that much and has decided to sign another six-month lease with me here at our complex, so I won't be moving into Beth's place or back home with my parents. Sure, I might try to talk Evan into moving closer to the city once our next lease runs out, but until then I'm happy to stay right here.
