1st Band-Recruiting Rehearsal

Today I had my first rehearsal with a potential band member for the band I'm trying to start here in Atlanta. This guy's name is Mike, and he's a keyboardist I met via Today the Moon at one of their shows about a month ago. After a few prior conversations, he invited me to come to his rented practice space just within the perimeter here in town to jam and share musical ideas. Now, although I didn't have as much material to show him this time, I think we both agreed that we would like to see where this goes, feeling confident in each other's abilities and aesthetic sensibilities. So, I told him I would buckle down to writing and finishing a song or two before meeting again, but hopefully that won't be too long from now, as this definitely helped get me extra pepped about the whole endeavor...
