So, back to my weekend. On Saturday, before going to see the Junior Boys show that night, my friend Beth called to ask for last-minute help in moving out of her Little 5 Points apartment since the friend she had previously arranged to help her had to bail at the last minute. So, a few hours before the show, I picked up some paint for her at Home Depot and headed over. We made two trips taking Beth's bulkier items over to her storage space 15 minutes away, which was very tiny and looked as if it couldn't possibly contain everything she needed to put in it. Fortunately, she crammed everything in (Beth's a strong girl, by the way!), and I made it out of there just in time to get a quick bite to eat before the show.
Anyway, I'm sad to hear that Beth's moving to New York permanently, but at the same time, it's a good career move for her, being a dancer and all. Maybe I'll get to visit her up in New York for a show sometime when she's a world-famous dancer/choreographer. In the meantime, I'm glad I could do my little part in making this all a reality. =)
