Nick Pitera

One of the newest YouTube celebrities to catch my attention is Nick Pitera, this singer who is known for his incredible female vocal range, the kind that puts my falsetto to shame. See, most guys' falsettos are one of only two types: the innocent boyish headvoice or the mixed ballsy 80's metal-style falsetto (which is what I do). Well, Nick Pitera's actually sounds like a girl singing...

If you're not convinced by his cheesy rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'" above, check out any of his numerous other videos on YouTube. Other favorites include: "I Will Always Love You", "A Whole New World", and a live performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at a local hockey game.

Good stuff. Wish I could sing like that!

Sorry the clip above is being cut-off on my blog...still haven't figured out how to fix this...any ideas?
