So, Candace and I have been back from SF for over 24 hours now, and although I really loved the city, I'm very glad to be back, as traveling for me is often hard work.
Anyway, our last day was almost entirely centered around traveling, but since we had a relatively late flight out (not until 2:00 PM), we used the morning to explore our area a little bit more, first in search of breakfast and then for the hell of it. Breakfast was a combination of Noah's Bagels, a donut place (for me), and Starbuck's, after which we toured the eastern port area a bit more, the focal point being Cupid's Span, a massive sculpture of a bow and arrow.
We then just packed up, checked out, took BART back to SFO (the airport), grabbed some lunch to take on the plane (flights - even long ones - no longer give you free food!), and flew home. This flight was much lousier than the previous one, most-likely due to a combination of me wanting to be home, the annoying flight attendants, the guy next to me having big arms that restricted my movement, and my inability to sleep. But, we landed eventually and then had to take a frustrating ride on MARTA back to Candace's, finishing our night with a late-late dinner at the Vortex, a popular Atlanta indie hamburger joint.
As far as the whole trip is concerned, I'll give a full retrospective summary in another post, most-likely along with all of my Facebook photos (I should have four albums worth).
