Crazy Friday

This past Friday was a bit strange for me. To begin with, when trying to pay for my rental tux as a groomsman for my sister's wedding, I found out that my credit card's security had been breached (evidently online) about two weeks ago and that Visa had been trying to let me know. See, the lady ringing me up at the tux place was having a hard time clearing my credit card, so she called the right people and put me on the phone...evidently Bank of America has a policy whereby they give you two weeks after your card's been compromised before they invalidate further purchases on the card. So, I had to answer a bunch of seemingly ridiculous security questions just for them to tell me what was going on, and then they allowed me to make the purchase...weird.

After this, I headed straight to Johns Creek for my new teaching engagement: teaching a keyboard class of three boys. Little did I know that these three boys were going to be three hyper, five year old, Indian boys. To top it off, this gig (which is more like baby sitting than teaching) is my worst paying gig. All of this added up to one strange hour involving me either repeatedly banging on claves to supply them with a beat or alternatively disciplining them to keep them in line, all while being watching by the Asian man that partially runs the school...weird.

There was at least one other odd thing that happened Friday, but the material's a little too sensitive to be posting on such a public place...
