Charleston Day 2

For our first full day in Charleston (or rather, in our quasi-island resort on the Isle of Palms), Candace and I started our day doing typical laying out at the beach stuff, including getting some typically mediocre and overpriced beach pavilion food. Neither of us got horribly burned (especially me), so that's a plus. I whiled away my time by alternatively listening to music and playing with my three Rubik's Cubes (Candace's only comment was something to the effect of "you're such a dork").

After our beach time, we each rented a bike for three days and rode them home, eventually taking them back out for a bit of exploring of the resort (which is quite large). Following necessary showers and a bit of relaxing (which for me involves some mandolin playing), we joined my entire family once again for some dinner at a resort restaurant, leading to an unusually funny and slightly debate-filled conversation. After dinner, the four of us twenty-somethings were planning on going out for drinks, but Jaclyn seemed a bit worn out, so we just had a drink at home and called it a night.
