Batman Begins

In preparation for the new Batman film, my dad and I rewatched Batman Begins last night. I don't really want to talk too much about this, as I've seen it twice in the past six months or so and am a little ready to move on, but suffice it to say that I think of this movie as what Batman should have been all those years ago (including the Tim Burton films). I know, the Tim Burton films are kinda classic, but based off of Batman Begins and what I've seen of The Dark Knight, I have a hard time considering the originals any more valid than the animated series or the campy Adam West show. This new set of films pulls together arguably the best cast that has ever graced a superhero movie, and quite possibly the best director for realizing the superhero world.

I'm seeing The Dark Knight tonight though, so I'll be sure to give you a full reaction to that sometime tomorrow or possibly tonight.
