Moving In with Evan

After being stuck living at home with my parents for nine and a half months, I'm finally moving to an apartment. The main thing holding me back until now was not having a really enticing roommate option available; sure, I've had a couple random offers, but nothing really clicked well enough to outweigh the money I would be saving living at home. This said, my long-time friend from high school, Evan Cobb and I had been talking about moving in for some time, but we had to wait until his current lease expired before we could move into a different apartment in his complex. Also, until recently he was worried he might end up accepting a job in Seattle at the end of the Summer, but now he doesn't think he'll be able to make that decision until the new year, so we're going to sign a six month lease and take it from there once he figures out what he wants to do.

Overall, even if I only get to live outside my parents' home for six months, it will be greatly appreciated, as I'm kinda going crazy living at home. Sure, I won't have nearly as much money to spend, but I'm willing to pay that price. Plus, having a male friend around all the time will be good for me, as my social circle here is still a bit lacking (plus, Evan's a great friend anyway, and it'll be nice getting to hang out with him a lot more). So, I'll be moving in at the beginning of August (in a week and a half), and I'm totally pumped!
