Platinum No.2

A tiny bit behind. Friday night I DJed Platinum for the second time. The gig went well, even though our guest DJ slot had to be changed at the last minute. I ended up DJing for about 75 minutes. I'm happy to report that I managed to play an entirely different set from what I played the week before, yet I was still really happy with what I played.

The deal at Platinum is that DJ Girly Beats (and I) are being given an opportunity to prove that we can revive the club's recent lacking attendance. If we can successfully do so, we could very well be offered a paid residency. This is by no means in the bag, but it's what we're shooting for. From what I understand, we've got the whole month to prove we can bring in some people, so I might be opening there for the next two Fridays. Regardless of how you look at it, it's a great opportunity, and I feel really fortunate to have gotten a gig like this this early on.
