Well, my first day on my Bloomington trip is about over. After making the eight hour drive here, leaving around 10:30 this morning, Dave and I caught up a bit and then headed over to dinner at the Turkuaz Café amidst a pretty strong downpour, which we waited out inside. After dinner, we returned to his apartment for some South Hendersons (one of our two classic 805 mixed drinks: root beer and jägermeister) while playing some Guitar Hero III. To end the night right, we headed out to the Vid for some drinks before grabbing a slice of Rockit's Pizza while walking around downtown Bloomington taking in the scene (despite being a rainy evening).
Now we're just chilling at the apartment waiting for Carla to return from her Army music school trip. I'm pretty wiped out but looking forward to another fun day tomorrow!
