Our cat Cupid had a rough day yesterday: he went to the vet to have both his front claws AND his testicles removed. Ouch... So now he's resting back home, albeit in the cage you see him in above (evidently running around would slow the healing process for his front paws).
Anyway, I feel really bad for him, and I kinda wonder how justified neutering and de-clawing really are. As I've said before, I'm not much of an animal rights kind of person (I think we should fix the fucked up things with our fellow man first), but I do feel I would probably have a fairly strong opinion about these issues if I were to give them more thought and research.
Thoughts?

when i saw the title of this post, i thought cupid was either having laser hair-removal surgery, or something to do with molluscum contagiosum. i'm glad that's not the case.
