So, it's been four whole days since I returned from Charleston, and I'm just now getting around to wrapping-up my account of the trip, including posting a link to my Facebook album:Charleston w/Candace
Overall, the trip was memorable, but I definitely decided I'm not much of a beach person. Sure, I like walking along the beach in the early evening, but I'm not much a fan of the slow pace of beach lifestyle, getting much sun, swimming, or even just sitting out reading. Plus, I think I've developed an intolerance to moderate amounts of direct sunlight...it really drains me and possibly might have augmented my already frequent bad dreams (I had many on the trip).
All this said, I'm glad Candace and I went on the trip, and I'm very appreciative to my parents for letting us stay with them. Ultimately, if nothing else, we all got some new memories (and pictures), got to know one another better, and got to explore a new (and pretty interesting) city.
