As I've mentioned before, Decatur is a smallish city right next to Atlanta that somewhat functions as Atlanta's small town, complete with a square with a town hall and streets slow enough to make it pedestrian-friendly. Anyway, due to this, Decatur is home to some of the coolest spots in town, and one of them that I had been wanting to try for quite some time was the Decatur Chocolate Bar, a small little dessert bar with a large menu of items both complimentary to and featuring chocolate.
So, for our first visit there, Candace and I each had a different chocolate martini, and we split a dish called "Death By Chocolate", which was essentially a ganache, a tiny little cake, and some chocolate sorbet. It was all pretty good, but to be honest, it was a little too much chocolate for one sitting. Next time however, I should be able to balance whatever chocolate I have with an interesting float they had on offer: Leinenkugel beer with orange sorbet. Sounds like it's either really good or really bad!
