So, although you wouldn't know if you don't see me on a regular basis (largely because I haven't had many Facebook pics taken of me in a long while), I've recently stopped doing my faux-hawk, essentially returning my hair to a more traditional look, and I've grown a for-real moustache (!), hence "flattened and moustached."
Although this isn't the only reason for the change, it's possible to attribute both elements of my new look to my getting back together with Candace. When it comes to my hair, Candace wasn't really a big fan of my faux-hawk, and it was sort of hard to maintain, especially considering I generally liked wearing it down for my lessons but up for everything else. But, I didn't really become convinced of the hair-down look until Candace also informed me that she thought I should try to grow a moustache, which (short of my fu manchu), I've never been able to successfully do.
So, over the past month or so, I've been letting my moustache grow along with my stubble, effectively masking the scraggly initial stages of my moustache until it was ready to live on its own out in the wild, so to speak. So now I've got the thickest moustache I've ever had, and I plan to keep growing it thicker and bushier. To my surprise, it actually kinda fits me, and I like it a lot! Even my parents like it! Yay for moustaches! =)
