Nightmare On Elm St. 3

So, onto the third installment in the Nightmare series. As I had remembered it, this one was pretty decent: it featured a number of decent actors, the plot and script were fairly interesting, and Freddy has started playing by the rules of the franchise again. The third film essentially tries to pick up where the first one left off, which was not only a smart move due to how bad the second film was, but also because it was good to see the Nancy character come back to give Freddy some hell. And, just like the first film (which featured a young Johnny Depp), this film was one of the first somewhat notable features for both Lawrence Fishburne and Patricia Arquette, which is kinda cool. Plus, there's a dude in the film that looks just like Bill Maher!

Overall, this one isn't as good as the first film but is certainly way closer in quality to that one than the film situated between them.
