Dinner Out w/Today the Moon

Last week, the drummer that we're currently working with asked me if I would like to join him for a bite to eat in Decatur with the guitarist of Today the Moon, Tomorrow the Sun. It was kinda a last-minute thing, but it seemed like a good opportunity to get to know someone in the scene here as a friend rather than just a supporter, so I was okay with moving some things around to make it happen. To my surprise, it turned out that not only the guitarist was there, but also the singer and bass player, leaving out only the drummer (who lives a bit out of town).

The restaurant we went to is a sort of glorified taco stand called Tacqueria del Sol which is known for its incredible margaritas and even better gourmet tacos, of which I had two and three respectively, easily making it one of the best meals I can remember having in a long time. Overall, it was a fun evening, and spending time with our current drummer and the three Today the Moon band members was really nice...hopefully we'll be able to do it every once in a while.
